Alfas were running at Willow Springs last weekend so I followed my friend Anthony Rimicci and his pops Santos. They were driving his recently acquired Montreal. It was my longest trip yet in the sedan and driving a 2.0 with a 4.56 at highway speeds was a bit tiresome, especially when trying to keep pace with a v8 touring car like a Montreal.
Once we arrived there was plenty too look at but the star of the show was Manuel’s beautiful GTA which was recently restored back to original specs down to the graphics. Unfortunately he blew a head gasket after just a few laps but I look forward to seeing this historic car in the future.
All decals were re-created to duplicate the exact looks of the GTA when she first hit Willow Springs in the 70’s.
